Example #20. Adjoint-Based Adaptation Applied to High-Lift Airfoil
Contributed by David Venditti and David Darmofal, MIT
Comparison of traditional feature-based adaptation with adjoint-based adaptation for turbulent flow over a three-element airfoil using lift as a metric.

The adjoint method quickly converges to the grid-converged result and self-terminates, while the feature-based method gives a completely erroneous result with twice the number of grid points.
