7.1. Overview

A 2-day FUN3D training workshop will be held at Langley on December 11-12, 2018. The training will cover a wide range of topics and introduce new features available in the v13.4 release.

7.2. Agenda and Materials

A tentative agenda for the workshop is shown below. Minor changes to sessions/speakers may be necessary.

Participants will be able to get lunch and snacks at the Langley cafeteria directly adjacent to the workshop venue. Lunch on the first day will include a series of “lightning talks” designed to give brief 5-minute overviews of FUN3D-related application and development efforts both inside and outside NASA. If you would be interested in contributing such a presentation, please indicate the topic in the registration form below.

An electronic version of the training material will be available here shortly before the workshop. Hardcopies will not be provided on-site.

7.3. Registration

Space is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee to attend. Registration will close November 28, 2018 or sooner if venue capacity is reached.

US Persons (defined as US citizens or lawful permanent residents) are welcome to register. Visitors will be required to provide valid photo identification at the time of badging (e.g., state driver’s license). Lawful permanent residents are also required to provide their permanent resident card (not a copy). Please contact FUN3D-support@lists.nasa.gov if you have any questions. Valid proof of citizenship/residency upon arrival is the sole responsiblity of the participant.

If you plan to use a state driver’s license for identification, please visit this page to verify that your state meets the Federal requirements or has a valid extension through the FUN3D workshop dates.
